2010 EXHIBITOR RULES AND REGULATIONS

This is an Outdoor Market ... begins July 2nd & 3rd

(No Market on July 30 & 31 because of  the Street Fair, The Taste & Art on the Green)


This is a Friday and Saturday Market and it is not juried ... However it is not a swap meet nor a flea market. We want only hand crafted, new or gently used merchandise and quality agriculture products. Only a limited number of multi level sales Vendors will be allowed. You may come to one or both days but you MUST stay for the entire day. There are no membership fees or dues to be paid just show up during the set-up time, submit your Application and Hold Harmless Agreement and set up, it's that simple.

BOOTHS:  ALL BOOTHS ARE 10' X 10

Vendors are responsible for their own booths. A booth space is 10' wide x 10' deep. Pipe and tarp booths are not allowed. Full booth back is highly recommended. Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs and canopy and the tables must be covered and skirted. Booths must have the Vendors name prominently displayed on the booth, along with the Idaho State Tax Commission form. The entire booth must be confined to the space assigned and properly weighted down and secured. Booths must remain open all day of the Market. Vendors must be present in their booths at all times.

 

BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS:

Booths are assigned on a first come basis each day of the Market. Vendors requested booth will be taken into consideration however, the Market Director will assign Vendors so as to have a favorable mix and presentation for the visitors. In order to achieve this, returning Vendors will not be assigned the same previous booth location.

 

BOOTH SET-UP and TAKE-DOWN:

Booth set-up times are Friday 8 am - noon and Saturday 7 am - 10 am NO EXCEPTIONS. Vehicles will be allowed in the Market grounds on Friday and Saturday to unload and must be removed from the Market grounds immediately after unloading. Booth take-down will not be allowed until the close of the Market. The Market Director will not allow Vendors vehicles in the Market grounds until all visitors are gone NO EXCEPTIONS. Any Vendor leaving early will not be allowed to participate in future Markets.

 

BOOTH FEES:  FREE!

  

ELECTRICAL POWER:

All booths have access to limited electrical power. Please no heaters. Vendor must provide 3-wire grounded extension cords.

 

PARKING:

Please park in the Vendor parking area, do not park on the street, in the disabled parking area, in the designated motorcycle parking area, in the designated staff parking area or in the designated entertainment parking area. Thursday and Friday overnight Vendor parking is free and is located in the designated Vendor parking lot adjacent to the Market grounds. All vehicles, RVs, trailers and tents are welcome. There are no hook-ups and any illegal dumping will be prosecuted.

 
IDAHO SALES TAX:

Each booth Vendor will be responsible to report all sales to the Idaho State Tax Commission within 15 days after the Market. An Idaho State Tax Commission form will be issued to each Vendor and must be placed in a visible area of Vendor's booth. Idaho State sales tax is 6% and must be collected by the individual booth Vendor on all sales.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

Excess noise of any kind and open fires are prohibited. Absolutely no alcohol, illegal drugs or dogs are allowed in the Market at anytime. Raffles and any type of gambling are prohibited. No barking, hard selling or SALE signs allowed.

  

The Art and Home Center of Coeur d'Alene or The Coeur d'Alene Outdoor Market or any individual therein shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury to any person or property belonging to or with Vendors. Vendor shall accept total liability for any damage or injury caused as a result of their display and shall hold safe from claim Market management for any such loss. Market management shall not be held liable for any loss by Vendor or agent should Market be cancelled for any reason up to and including inclement weather, civil strife or government ruling etc.

 

We know it looks like a lot of rules but they will make a successful Market for everyone.
